I've seen raws floating around - search for Hyakushou Kazoku, that usually brings up some links. The first two chapters were scanlated but the project seems dormant now (the second chapter was also never uploaded to any online manga readers, I had to get it from IRC).
I think scanlators avoid it because the language is too hard (like Moyashimon), and the humor is too esoteric. It's just Arakawa-sensei reminiscing (sometimes cynically but always with warmth) about growing up on a dairy farm in Hokkaido where your main enemies are bears, squirrels and weeds and how far away everything resembling civilization is. And she can get quite technical and rhapsodic about The Meaning of Farming.XD
